The Dover 99F combines a short compact body with a shallow swimming action. This makes it a great choice of lure for fishing shallow water in choppy conditions as the body profile gives stability allowing the lure to work through turbulent water without getting overwhelmed. The tight action gives the fish a target to aim at and can lead to some hard takes as they bow wave below the surface to hit the lure before it gets away. In calmer conditions you can work it nice and slow and the stubby shape gives a nice profile which matches a wide range of inshore bait species.
