The Major Craft Eely Shad is a particularly effective and versatile soft lure, designed to imitate a sand eel, a popular prey for marine fish such as Bass, Wrasse, Pollock, Coalfish, Cod and more!
This lure is available in several sizes: 7.5 cm , 9.5 cm , 13 cm , and 16 cm , with weights ranging from 4.1 g to 39.2 g , which allows it to be used in a variety of fishing situations, from the surface to great depths.
Supplied in 2 ready to fish kits with glued bodies. No spares - No bits just clip on and fish!
Technical uses:
Surface Fishing : For shallow water or when fish are hunting near the surface, the lighter 3-inch and 3-7/8-inch models are recommended. Their light weight allows for a natural swim just below the surface, ideal for straight or sawtooth retrieves. These lures create a vibrating action that attracts predators even in low-activity conditions.
Mid-depth fishing : The 13cm (22.3g) model is suitable for medium water layers. Use it with a stop-and-go animation to imitate a wounded fish. It is perfect for attracting more wary predators, while staying in the hunting zone where they often hang out.
Deep-sea fishing : The heaviest model, 16 cm (39.2 g), is ideal for fishing in deep water or in strong currents. Thanks to its rapid descent, this model is effective for vertical jigging or during rapid retrieves. 
Low Visibility Conditions : In addition to its dynamic design, the Eely Shad is available in colors suited to turbid or low-light waters, such as the Tennessee Shad or the Laser Chart Yamame , providing great visibility underwater.
