The MFE-S-826M is an out-and-out hard lure rod, designed for maximun distance but still extremely light in the hand. The action is stated as fast, but I think it more of a "heavy" action, meaning the tip does bend but progressively. This rod will fire your minnow, metal or surface lure out miles for its length, and working them back with small twitches will bring your lure to life easily. The skeleton reel seat is not only light and egonomic, it also allows your hand to keep contact with the carbon, making sure you feel every bump and knock.
The Fioretto Essence range from Molix is there uber light-weight class rods designed and built with the best of fittings, to provide you with the perfect feel and balance. Fitted with the latest Fuji Fazlite rod guides, which are designed for saltwater use and are 7 times more corrosion resistant than even the Fuji Stainless steel version (and also a quarter of the weight). The carbon is layered in 3 stages with a HMSHM core, then a screen before another wrap of HMSHM. The HMSHM carbon has been specifically design and made for Molix.
